GRAPHIC DESIGN AND PHOTOGRAPHY
Seeds in Motion Book.
I spent a few weeks visiting the Athens Farmers Market, interviewing local farmers, shooting photos, and compiling their stories. The compilation of this became “Seeds in Motion.” Through my photography, design, and storytelling, the book first highlights the dedication of the farmers, what motivates them, and the seasonal produce they grow.
The book then “follows” that food on a journey home with us as consumers – literally, farm to table – celebrating our experiences with it, showing how food connects people and the moments in their lives. From moments with friends and family to iconic family recipes, “Seeds” went from an assignment, turned passion project that came to life as a handbound book I’ll always treasure.

Perfect Bound with French Fold
After printing and folding each page, the perfect bookbinding process begins with carefully aligning the folded signatures to create a clean, even stack. The spine of the assembled pages is scored to allow for flexibility and ensure the book opens smoothly. Next, a layer of glue is applied along the scored spine to secure the pages together. To reinforce the structure, a strip of cloth is adhered over the glued spine, providing both strength and durability. Finally, the book is pressed to ensure a tight bond and a professional finish.
